Rally for Universal Healthcare!
Dear FCL Supporter,
Please join FCL, OneCareNow and other healthcare advocates for two important rallies in support of Senate Bill 840, The California Universal Healthcare Act. SB 840 has been endorsed by FCL and numerous healthcare organizations, including doctors and nurses, and is the only universal health care bill currently in the Legislature. The legislation streamlines funds currently spent for healthcare into one system that would cover every California resident and provides comprehensive benefits.
Rallies will be held in San Francisco and Los Angeles.
San Francisco Day (OneCareNow's 365 City Campaign)
Wednesday, August 8th, 12 noon
50 Beale St. (In front of the Blue Shield Office, between Market & Mission and Fremont & Main --Embarcadero Station for BART/MUNI

Participants will receive OneCareNow's DVD on how to remove insurance companies from California's healthcare system.

Los Angeles, CA
Senator Sheila Kuehl will address the rally and will be joined by Lt. Governor John Garamendi, Dolores Huerta of the United Farm Workers Union and healthcare advocates.
