Rally the Governor in Support of Universal Healthcare, September 8, Sacramento!
Dear Friend of FCL,
Last week FCL joined with others to lobby uncommitted Democrats in the State Assembly to support Senate Bill 840, The California Universal Healthcare Act, by Senator Sheila Kuehl, D., Santa Monica. We are pleased to report that these efforts appear to have been successful and that the bill will be sent to Governor Schwarzenegger for approval.
We must show Governor Schwarzenegger the overwhelming support that exists for SB 840. Please join us for a rally and press event at the State Capitol to demand that the governor sign the bill!
