Dear FCL Supporter,
Requests from prisoners for subscriptions to the FCL Newsletter far exceed the number of free subscriptions FCL can provide under the terms of our periodicals non-profit postage permit. Incarcerated readers frequently write the FCL office to tell us how much they value reading the newsletter. Knowing there is an organization in Sacramento guided by Quaker values that advocates for laws which are respectful of the inherent worth of every person is a source of hope and inspiration for people behind the walls. In addition, prisoners often provide FCL with feedback and information that is useful to our lobbying efforts.
You can help FCL increase newsletter circulation to prisoners by sponsoring a paid, one-year subscription for a prisoner. With every $25 donation to our Prisoner Newsletter Subscription Drive, you will receive a package of holiday cards with artwork made by prisoners and donated to FCL.
