After Innocence on Larry King Live Wednesday
December 21, 2005
Dear FCL Supporter,
The Friends Committee on Legislation Education Fund is proud to partner with Active Voice to co-sponsor the Sacramento theatrical opening of the film After Innocence at the Crest Theater on January 13th, 2006. (See below for a list of theatrical openings in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Berkeley and San Diego.)
Winner of six prestigious awards, including the Sundance Film Festival's Special Jury Prize, After Innocence is the dramatic and compelling story of seven innocent men wrongfully imprisoned for decades and then released after DNA evidence proved their innocence. The film chronicles the gripping story of their emotional journey back into society and their efforts to rebuild their lives. Tonight, four of the exonerees from the film will be interviewed on CNN's Larry King Live.
FCL has a limited number of discount tickets available for the Sacramento opening. Please contact FCL for information on this and other theatrical openings in California.
There is still time to make tax deductible donations for calendar year 2005 to the FCL Education Fund. Donations to the Education Fund may be made on line by pointing your web browser to http://fclca.org/donate.html or by a check payable to the "FCL Education Fund" postmarked no later than December 31, 2005.
