Our Partners


At FCLCA we increase our effectiveness by working in coalitions to pass legislation and promote equitable public policy.

We join with civil liberties organizations such as ACLU and Human Rights Watch to advocate for reform in our criminal justice system and treatment of juveniles.


We join with other faith-based organizations such as California Council of Churches/Church Impact, National Council of Jewish Women California and Lutheran Office of Public Policy, California Catholic Conference, Committee on American-Islamic Relations, and GRACE in the California Interfaith Coalition to advocate for measures to end poverty and protect social safety net.  We advocate for the measures recommended by the End Child Poverty Campaign.

We work with the United Ways of CA and Children's Defense Fund and many other organizations in the CalEITC Advocacy Coalition. 

We work with the California Work and Family Coalition to support legislation for paid family leave and work/life balance.

We are part of the Stronger California coalition to support gender equity.

We work with organizations such as Ella Baker Center for Human Rights and Drug Policy Alliance to undo harmful policies left over from the “War on Drugs.”

We are part of the Green California coalition, advocating for environmental justice.

We work with the American Friends Service Committee to call attention to solitary confinement and improve conditions inside prisons.
