THE FCL STAFF
Jim Lindburg succeeded Steve Birdlebough as FCL's legislative advocate in 2002. Prior to joining FCL, Jim served as a teaching assistant at California State University, Sacramento (CSUS) where he also organized symposia on political issues. He has been an active volunteer at Folsom Prison and the Sacramento County Jail. Jim has masters degree in government from CSUS.
Dale Richter recently joined the Friends Committee on Legislation as the Administrative Assistant. Dale comes to FCL after retiring from the U.S. Postal Service where he held a variety of management positions.
Dale is also Chair of the Statewide Inmate Family Council and chairs regular meetings with the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation. He has worked with FCL lobbyists and advocates on behalf of families who have a family member serving time in prison. Dale has been an FCL Supporter for 10 years. He graduated from California State University, Sacramento with a degree in economics and resides with his wife in Carol in Citrus Heights, CA.
